Sketch...

This was a sketch i did about a month ago i believe... I tried to color it in Photoshop but no luck, so i figured i should just post it up while i finish the girl. I painted her hand today and I'm drawing a ray gun as her weapon of choice. I also need a background as well. Damn, still got a lot of work huh? In the mean time enjoy -- J

UPDATE!!!

So... here's what i go so far.. plenty of fixing up to do. I've been using the oil brush in painter as well as the blender to mix my colors.. Also, left the samples of colors I'm using to give whoever views this blog an idea of how I'm choosing my colors! It's been really hard but I'm learning as i go with this process.... Thanks to whomever drops by my blog..---j

Battle of the Robots!

Still working on the girl but in between breaks i tend to work on other drawings... Jeremy Vanhoozer is an amazing illustrator and designer who i've asked recently for some painting advice on Corel Painter. His designs of robots are some of the best i've ever seen, and i figured what better way to thank him then to create something "vanhoozer" like.. Thanks for the help jeremy! Enjoy

Blocking color..?

Like i said before.. I need help with the coloring! Basic color blocking for starters i guess.. Still experimenting with brushes in corel painter to get a nice texture of her body suit.

Sketch...

I've been asking artist around for some coloring tips and i received some really good feed back... Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to stick with me when i attempt to color my art!!! Tried coloring this but it wasn't worth posting in the end... So i decided to just post the sketch.

A Pretty Face...

This took a very, very, very long time to do.....
The splatter brushes i used are from brusheezy.com. I'm not sure exactly which set, so whomever sees my blog and knows who did please let me know so i can give them the credit for these nice brushes.. i hate to take this down.. but if have to, then i will.. Enjoy!
